All types of old carpet tile can either be donated to charitable organizations for re-use OR recycled into new carpet tile backing systems at one of several US carpet manufacturers. No post-consumer carpet tile systems recovered by CarpetCycle will be landfilled.
From our early beginning, CarpetCycle has evolved to providing commercial carpet/flooring tear out services. We have references
from Connecticut to Delaware.
CarpetCycle is continuing to expand its collection operations to commercial carpet installers, carpet retailers and local office buildings undergoing renovations. To participate, an initial visit must be made by a CarpetCycle representative for a quick and easy test of the material. This is to verify that the fibers are recyclable. Rip-up services are also available. At present, collection from residential homes is available for a flat fee of $100. Homeowners can participate by calling CarpetCycle for an appointment, or by using carpet installers or retailers that recycle.
CarpetCycle, LLC collects carpet and foam carpet padding for recycling from retailers, installers and commercial buildings undergoing renovation in the Northern New Jersey and New York areas.
