CarpetCycle, known for its services for safely removing, collecting and recycling commercial carpet and post-consumer building materials, is now manufacturing a sustainable insulation: Quiet-Tech
Quiet-Tech is an acoustic carpet insulation made from 85-90% percent post-consumer recycled materials. With Quiet-Tech, CarpetCycle is diverting waste from landfills by taking used materials from the floor and putting it right back into the walls of commercial buildings.
Quiet-Tech is environmentally friendly, safe for construction workers and provides noise reduction qualities. For example, it:
- Can improve Sound Transmission Class (STC) by nine points and has a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) rating of 0.95.
- Does NOT contain any hazardous inhalable airborn material that's unsafe for a working environment
- Meets all requirements for UL GreenGuard Gold certification for ultra-low chemical emissions
- Contributes to commercial LEED & WELL credits
